    I would love to upgrade vista but not at the moment since its pretty expensive and there are still bugs to be ironed out.

    Hi there,

    Windows operating systems are usually good, but I agree with you Oriane, I always wait until SP1 is released. I am however happy with the way Vista has come out, it looks very impressive and if your computer has adaquate resources it runs a dream.

    Last week I have installed Vista for my friend.. it has cool appearance but seemed slow in performance. For myself I sticked to XP and I use windows classic theme to save some resources for my applications.
    But now all PC makers are selling computers with Vista... I didnt see any option of choosing between XP/Vista.

    Microsoft thinks that, just becase newer computers have more processing power and memory, they can suck it all up with the OS. It's retarded. That's why I like linux. It is simple, and leaves most of the resources alone.
