I been watching a show called Tattoo Ink on cable. Although I'd never get a tattoo myself I do appreciate art. What to you think - Tattoo's - the ultimate in self expression - or the ultimate in stupidity?

I LOVE TO HAVE TOOO.. but my region did not give their followers to do that... So Nowdays im just make a tattoo that not paste permanent in my skins... always make sure it can be erase by water or something else... ahaz!!
Temporary tats look crap after the first year and permanent ones... well i just dont think id want it for the rest of my life. My ex was going to get herself one and while we were together i was stopping her from getting it. I agree with w3bmaster about tats on chicks.
I've got 3 so far. Got my first one when I was 14. it was sooooo ugly (covered up now). Have been planning out a full back piece for years but it's a pretty tough decision.
price really depends on where you go. Some charge by the hour, some by the piece. It's like anything though, do some research and look at their portfolio and remember, you get what you pay (in terms of quality). I have a black and shaded dragon from the top of my arm to just above my elbow and I paid around $500 (canadian) for it and am really happy. I have a black/shaded piece across the top of my back which I paid a little more than $200 for and it's complete garbage. I will probably have to spend a fair amount to get it touched up by a better artist or, spend big bucks, get it lasered off and start over again.
I'm definitely not a cheap bitch, but I DO have two tattoos so far. I don't think there's anything wrong with a tattoo unless you get it for stupid reasons (like tattooing your gf/bf's name on you... yuck.)
I got a tattoo on my chest with my first gf's name. It's pretty big, so I haven't had it changed. You do not know how hard it is to find girls named Zuzu Petals. It's rough, I tell ya.
