i think there is no seo course which gives a diploma. what is your job? can you explain a bit more pls
I saw something on TV, if I see it again , I will let you know. It was an online thing, maybe you can Google the main players in that industry.
http://www.sempo.org/learning_center/training/FAQ/ What do I get when I finish? Upon completion of the material in each full course, and after passing a series of rigorous tests, students will receive a Certificate of Completion for each course. The Certificate is assigned to the individual, not their company, similar to continuing education and other certificate programs.
Hello, I hope the best is make works, and has a good porfolio to show your clients, for example if you have websites ranking very well in Google this will help you.. If you are ranking top keywords like cars, etc etc this will help you too much. Best
I'd first work on getting a couple of sites that you make yourself ranked and then you can go to your potential clients and say, "hey, here are the sites I made and see where they are ranking. I can do the same for you for $200/hr " Seriously, a good portfolio will get you more money then a certificate ever could.
WebCeoBlog, I apreciate your sense of humar, I can do it for you in half price, take your chance. I have enough customers, but if I ask for Certificate, it means, that I simple need it.
What WebCeoBlog is saying is true, if you have enough clients then you can simply show others testimonials and your portfolio, at least for me, that would be way more important than a piece of paper!
@Blacksnow... $200/hr is a little much to charge if you are just starting out, but if you are a good SEO you should be getting 3 digits ($xxx.xx) for your time. Put yourself in your clients shoes. What if you had a site that you wanted to rank well on google, but had little technical knowledge on how to do it? Would you be more impressed with a piece of paper that someone showed you from an unknown web university or the fact that a site he optimized for x keyword shows up #1 in google. Try doing a couple of your own sites that you optimize for keywords that are not super competitive. If you can get them to rank well then they are proof of your abilities and would be worth more to a potential client then any piece of paper. If they still insist on you having a certificate, then move on. They would probably be a pain to work with anyway.
Whats about https://adwords.google.com/select/professionalwelcome ? It is not directly about SEO, but I think it can be related to your month salary when you will be Google Advertising Professionals.
Dear WebCeoLog thank you for your advice, my sites take first positions in Yahoo and in TOP20 on Google (sorry not 10 yet), however, keywords very tough. Problem is I work for one company and looking for another employee. According to my diploma I am medical doctor but gave up it 7 years ago, so, what I should put in my CV in Eductaion section, Medical University and what? I need some relevant degree.
