come on folk it has to be the football the football is the star without the football there would be no game. ah said the blind man to the dog lol sorry i couldnt help myself
yeah kaka's a great player. i think over the last year though Messi has out done him a little though but Kaka is still class, and messi deserved his player of the year award. I actually went to the milan derby a few years back when Kaka was still with AC and it was 4-3 to inter, the game was unbelievable and even though Ac lost Kaka's game was superb, as was Ibrahimmovic. probably one of the best games i went to ( even though it cost me £115 per ticket , face value 18 Euros!) lol
I always like to see some one post that understands that this forum is based out of San Diego California where football is the game played by men and soccer is the game played by girls and the smaller boys. We should also remind our Association Football, soccer or Futbol friends, that about 400 million English speakers use football to refer to the the game the San Diego Chargers play. The star for me is still Barry Sanders, no running back has come close in the wow factor (Reggie Bush is a distant second). But if we must talk soccer, Wayne Rooney is the best based on his explosiveness, finishing skills and nobility (you don't see him falling down and crying while he holds his shin guard). And he also uses a full name, not something like Dodo, Caca, Madonna or Fifi.
