Who is your favorite band and why?

My vote goes to Metallica (I've been listening them for a long time) and Pearl Jam (I've been listening them more than anything else in last months)...

Metallica left me bitter on account of the whole Napster thing and to be honest the Black Album DID NOT help matters either.

 

I've never been into Metallica. I have 4 songs (downloaded ) of theirs that are really good. The rest, meh.

Besides that, The Shins (as I stated before), NIN, and Björk.
If you guys want some fun, check out NIN's Year Zero alternate reality "game". Make sure you have at least 4 hours set aside....

Full leaks are already out, like Trent "predicted" for us. The album hits stores in a week or something. I've already listened to the whole thing - really liking it - I'm looking forward to buying the album and subsequent remix discs, etc.

 

I really like Metallica for his first 4 albums, until the black one. After that Metallica became one of many "popular teenage bands" but they have earned great credit on albums such as Master of Puppets...

 

Me, I'm Not is the best track! I'm loving all of their stuff! Even told tracks like.... The Wretched!

 

Yeah, I don't think any true NIN fan can dislike the "old" stuff The Fragile, Left is still my favorite disc.

 

Who is your favorite band and why?

Mine is Phish. I have many bands that i really like, but the talent of Phsih was just above and beyond most other bads. Since i play guitar i love listening to Trey's insanse improv skills. And they are all just great musicians.

GY!BE = amazing shows

 

Coldplay, because their 3 albums are FLAWless and special in their own way

 

I like Phish Food (Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavor) but not Phish despite them being from my home state!

Anthrax, they had a string of releases that were just one better than the previous: Sound Of White Noise, Stomp 442, Volume 8 - The Threat Is Real

 

Phish was the first band that came to mind. they're not my favorite, but they're timeless
right now six parts seven is my favorite, because i love getting lost into their music while laying down falling asleep.
