Well no politician is ever a hero of mine, but as of late I like what Ron Paul has to say, John Edwards and Kucinich.
I like the fact he is a straight talker and his impecable record of being anti-illegals. Plus he said he would free Ramos and Compean.
A lot of people don't know this, but Tancredo would hang around the Liberty Caucus (Ron Paul's constitutional group in Congress). He wasn't a member, but he's actually a friend of Ron Paul's. I'm hoping he will endorse Paul if he drops out.
At this moment nobody, previously I really liked McCain. Gave him alot of extra credit for his service days, what he went through. I however can not support him for a few of his stances.
http://www.ronpaul2008.com Congressman Ron Paul: Archives (Dr. Ron Paul in his own words and brilliant writings) ~~~ Ron is great at delivering a message of limited government. It will be interesting to see what the Republican and Libertarian parties look like in 4, 8, and 12 years.
I think a lot of people feel this way. Very few politicians deserve more credit for their sacrifices while in the service, and McCain was a straight-talker up until 2000. The past 8 years he has done some serious damage to his legacy by wavering from his ideals and not standing up for what he believes in. After he lost the primary to Bush, he started backing Bush way more than even his supporters would have expected. Now McCain looks like the guy who just blew his fortune at the racetrack, continually betting on the wrong horse time and time again. The old McCain would not have been afraid to stand against the party line when it was clearly wrong. This McCain just rolls over and does whatever the leadership tells him to do. That's hardly what America is looking for in a leader.
I like George Galloway, he is a pretty cool politician, he is not an American, but Great Scottish. My favorite quote from him: "What a silly question, what silly person you are" I first heard of him in this video: George Galloway Another good video: Great Speech
