    Hi fellow DP members.... it is a well known fact that The IPL fever is on... all are discussing about the IPL matches everyday.... so just to make the discussion about the IPL even more interesting.... I have a very simple question...That is,

    who is the highest paid player in this years IPL..?

    Just to inform you people it is not KP or flintoff,It is some one else.....Let me see how many of you get it right..... :)

    Dhoni was the highest paid player in the first IPL, but in the auction before second IPL, Pieterson and Flintoff overtook him with Pieterson becoming the highest paid cricketer!

    No it is neither KP nor flintoff...... It is some one else..... There is a logical reason behind it...... When you realize it , you will be pleasantly surprised... :)
    By the way I'm not trying to test you people, just to make this topic interesting I'm doing this..... :)

    no my question is straight... who is the highest paid player in the on going ipl?

    Since the question is "who is" it cannot be two people as many of us think,Kp and flintoff...

    I have a logical reason behind a certain player why he should be paid That much(highest paid)....He should be the highest paid, as per IPL rules...:)

    well mate I'm not changing my words.....It is a very simple fact why that player is the highest paid player in the ipl....The thing is we have not realized that simple fact...... i myself realized it just recently... so that's the reason I have put up this thread....

    when i come up with the answer you will be pleasantly surprised.... :)

    I know the answer for this and i have to agree,there is reason/logic behind this.

    HINT: Remember guys,player get paid for how many matches they are available with team and not what they are auctioned for.Flintoff and Peterson will be available for only 7-8 matches of their respective teams.
