Well, one thing I want to ask you is "If you are planning to host a forum" 1GB Space & 10GB Bandwidth would be quite enough for you.

2nd, all of the things you mentioned plus many other features are offered by my own host as well. I will recommend you the same host I am using, but it depends upon your budget. Just shooting you a PM.

It can consider few things before selecting host for your site.
    1. How much resources you need?
    2. What location you need?
    3. What's your budget?

If you're looking for good quality hosting for a forum, and you think it's going to be active, then you need to do some heavy research. The problem with most hosts that offer unlimited everything is you're going to be on a server with a ton of other users. If your forum gets a large amount of traffic that means it's going to be hitting MySQL pretty good and you really don't want to be on an overloaded/oversold server as it's going to cause your page load times to go up when so many people are fighting over the same resources.

You mentioned you want cPanel. FYI iPage doesn't use cPanel they have H-Sphere control panel instead.

Why not he take the advantage from my research. I spent more than a month in order to get a good host. I have changed my server almost once a year but now it seems I am at a good place as its giving me 100% up time for the last 4 months. For years it was 99.82%.

Hostgator is a good one with 24/7 support - good customer support
Just host is cheaper than hostgator = also okay
Godaddy is popular but not good for beginners not good customer support but good start for website indexing
bfreesite.com for free hosting = for people looking for free hosting
esbhost = as cheap as $1.99 for cpanel hosting like hosgator = good deal

I think that is not correct at all to talk about web hosting providers in general. You can have your own favorite web hosting provider and you may think they are one of the best. But that is not about everyone. That just about you. That is truth.

cheapest is usually not the best choice when it comes to hosting. If having a stable presence on the Internet is important to you, if you don't want to waste countless hours trying to resolve mysterious problems with your site, then do your research and be prepared to spend a few extra bucks to get a quality service run by a professional team.

Go with iPage! They are reputed, great and their servers are good. GoDaddy is a good hosting... for static pages, servers are too slow and not so secure.
Read all the previous answers, you will discover that for a forum you won't need SSH, SSI, CGI. You simply need a powerful MySQL Server Daemon as well a great secured and fast PHP compile. That's it.
