Obviously they both have their legendary status in time; however, Lebron really screwed that when he transferred from Cleveland. Just saying...he will be mentioned as one of the greats...but NOT in everyone's first breathe.
Not a huge basketball fan, but I would have to go with Kobe. I just get a champion vibe from Kobe, whereas, I don't from Lebron. In addition, from watching them play it seems like Kobe is more dynamic and skilled. They are both amazing players though.
In term of current skills, it would be LeBron but when it comes to someone who can get it done, I have to go with Kobe. Most people would say that Kobe is overrated, maybe he is but on the other hand he's got 5 rings whereas LeBron got none. Yes, Kobe did get helped from Shaq and Gasol to win the championships but who doesn't? Can MJ win the titles without Pippen or Rodman? I doubt it because it's a team sport, not individual.
