    You're probably right there.

Who do you think is better - Gerrard or Lampard?

You can't even compare Gerrard or Lampard imo, Lampard isn't fit to clean Gerrard's boots!

Probably Kaka or Messi i think they are both quality players!!

Had the game been a CL one, I'm sure the result would have read 3-0 in favour of Liverpool :eek:

LOL WTF was he doing up there?

Yeah Gerrard is good but he doesn't influence games as much as Ronaldo

We lack passion in premier league derbys someone needs to fire them up before the game and let them know what it's all about. They get this before a CL game hence an enhanced performance but in PL i don't think the players have the same attitude. Reina bottled it, he may have made some world class saves but he flapped when he was needed the most. Gerrard was nowhere to be seen and i hated it when i saw him and Rooney laughing together in the tunnel before the game! The newest players seemed to play the best imo, inc. mashcerano, arbeloa and auerlio.

I like C. Ronaldo for this year. But I cant ignore the fact that he hasn't really performed well against the stiffer teams with stingy defences.

God forbid any inguries, but if he leads MAN U in winning the Champions League this year all pudnits will be under a rock.

But still, is he the best in all categories?

I think Man Utd choosing Ronaldo as captain is poor, as is William Gallas being the captain of Arsenal, who is the biggest baby of all time and probably has zero respect off his fellow teammates. As for Ronaldo i think he is too young to become a captain, and by doing so has only made hes ego bigger. I also think he'll want to get out of Man Utd asap.

Why would he want to get out of MU asap? And I think he was only captain for that game. It's usually Ferdinand I think, who is now England captain too
