Hi, i am looking for Best domain registrar. I have 4 options register.com net4.in namecheap.com name.com I know there was some issue with godaddy, so I dont want godaddy. And talking about enom , its not for me, i am not ready to spend more money I am thinking about name.com Is there anyone who had registered domain with name.com ? I want some reviews about name.com Thank you.
I am just reading Reviews about name.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-registrar-reviews/86438-name.html Do they provide CNAME change record ? MX change record ? NS change record? FOR FREE OF COST ?
Namecheap gets my vote. I have been using namecheap for about 3+ years and have never had any problems. They also have a security feature on your account. If someone tries to guess your password, after 3 or 4 failed log in attempts, your account is locked for 24 hours. One time I locked myself out and had to email support. And then I had to provide all kinds of information to prove who I was just so they would unlock my account.
enom too expensive? then register a domain on namecheap and look at the whois! you'll see enom as registrar ENOM is one of the domain reseller sellers which does not compete with it's resellers.. That's why their prices are so expensive, you can register a domain at about $10 on an enom reseller, I would choose none of the options in your list.. GoDaddy is the best
Not true anymore, namecheap.com is now an ICANN accredited registrar. It's been this way for a while now. You might have seen an old registration. Name.com gets my vote. +1
my votes got Namecheap and Godaddy. Also estdomains as one of the cheapest one (unfortunately now closed)
go with moniker if you know what you are doing with your domain is somewhat sketcy. i.e trademark domains. They are gangster when it comes to releasing domains, youve gotta love them.
name.com is good i m using it from last year. customer support is good. just some bucks costlier ..but no issues till today. if offer sometimes at very good rates.
GoDaddy DomainSite DynaDot! I used and highly recommeded to make future deals! they work superb & reliable
Despite the misleading ICANN logo on their front page Namecheap still registers their names thru Enom - they don't have their own backend registration systems working yet. http://community.namecheap.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1839
Yeah you are right, I just contacted support and they told me ENOM charges them $200 to re-activate a domain name when it's under redemption period which clearly shows they are just a reseller. Liars, NAMECHEAP SUCKS. GO NAME.com
Thanks tobycoke and domainloco I am goin with name.com I want to knwo about their Sub account. Is that works like any affiliate or reselling ? Do they provide Reselling or affiliate system ?
No problem Troy, I know name.com is working on an API reseller program like godaddy because it was discussed alot during the past three months. But as far as implementing the plan, I am not sure when they will do so. I have never used their sub-account, to be honest.
Thank You, Is anybody provide domain reselling ? I know resellerclub and wildwestdomains Is there any other Company which provides domain reselling ? ( Company like Godaddy or Name.com) ? I m asking your bcos we are planning to start web hosing business, we know about servers and all that stuffs, But want o know about domain reselling. Thanks
You can get resellership from resellerclub, but there you have to pay big amount first for initial payment. I am also looking for a company which provide domains for a low fees and low initial payments.
