A little known man by the name of Terry Alderman. Best swing bowler in the world until some idiot streaker came on to the pitch. Terry tackled him to the ground and stuffed his shoulder in the process. Col
Didn't see him much, so can't comment on whether he was indeed the best swing bowler in the world ...But he had a successful tour of England in 1981, and after the shoulder incident, got banned for three years for going on a unofficial tour of South Africa...
Lots of em , apart from the regulars tendulkar, lara etc, some of the players who are lesser in the spotlight though are equally exciting to watch - craig mcmillan, paul collingwood, utthapa, etc
Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the best at the moment but plays like Kevin pietersen, A flintoff, J Kallis , A Symonds, Tendulkar and Lara have been and still are great players
my favorite cricketer is saurav ganguly. saurav ganguly has 10,000 runs, and he is the best team india captian. he is in form, and am excited to see him in the world cup!!
well here's the list of cricketers i admire Shahid Afridi Andrew flintoff kelvin petersen michael clarke brain lara dhoni....... and the list continues
Terry was an excellent bowler. He really tormented Graham Gooch with his swing bowling. I am always one for guys who are really exciting to watch like Andrew Symonds, Adam Gilcrist, Andrew Flintoff. I use to love watching Lance Klusener of South Africa.
When it comes batting I loved watching Gordon Greenidge & Desmond Haynes, Geoff Marsh & David Boon and later Tendulkar and Ganguly. Individual batsmen I enjoyed: Vivian Richards Sunil Gavaskar Alan Border Kapil Dev Imran Khan Javed Miandad Steve Waugh Sachin Tendulkar Saurav Ganguly Bowling Ambrose Walsh Mcdermott Alan Donald Kapil Dev Imran Khan (He cheated - but he was good when we didnt knew he cheated) Wasim Akram (He is my favorite) Waqar Younis (He was exellent too) I havent seen much cricket lately so not much up beat about new kids.
