Remember cheapest is not always the best solution. Remember to look in the terms and conditions before purchasing. I find that NameCheap.com are very good and provide many features to members. Worth having a look. Regards, acplus
Don't go to netfirm. After 1st year netfirms will charge you $9.95/yr Godaddy is good. if you know cupon codes then you can get a site in $7.20/yr
It depends of the domain extension you want to use. Onlinenic, Gadaddy, Namecheap, etc. are best for general TLDs'. 123-co.uk is good for co.uk and some european domains.
I got a few .info's from registerfly for $0.60 Also got a $6.99 .com They recently had a .net special for $2.95 They are having a free 2 hour domain name grab soon. Hope I do not miss it!
Don't buy at the cheapest, but at goddady, registerfly(people are having troubles right now with that) or yahoo that seens to low the prices so much.
Thats right. Don't buy the cheapest. Go with namecheap. I had no problems with them so far and all the 'pushes' worked fine.
If you end up with enough domains to get accepted by Fabulous's parking program, they offer $6.75 .com's and have a very nice management script.
I'd suggest you use some reliable domain registrat like godaddy.com if you are serious abt ur website(s).
yahoo have cheap offers but the service is not good.. i think you can check namecheap.com - $3.80 for info and $8.88 for com. net. org domain-mania.net - $2.65 for info $8.58 for com, net, org
Don't go to Netfirms. I had registered bestseopages.com Despite the registration being acknowleged by Netfirms, it was registered by another party a few days later. What am I supposed to do with ?
Years of experience.... Ended up with namecheap, since then, all my domains are purchased from them only. Right now, you get 10% discount if you use coupon BESTVALUE
I've used godaddy for six years, and they've been good; but I've also used name.com and namecheap.com. All have their strong and weak points. From my experience, overall, in terms of control, pricing, specials, and paypal allowance I now continue to go back to namecheap.com. (Godaddy does allows paypal, but you still have to have a credit card to use it.) One thing I particularly like at present is namecheap's ongoing special of free anonymous WHOIS. That 'special' has been going on for the past year.
4.95 is loosing money to netfirms for .com, getting more customers but loose revenue. i don't know why company doing that, any idea?
simple. attract more people then start charging customers the same value as the other companies from 2nd year n onwards?
