The best review is your own review. You have to have first-hand experience with a system to know, whether they are actually a scam or not.
The person, writing that review is just another guy like you. You have no clue what his motivations are. He could very well be the competition, just trying to bad-mouth another affiliate platform, so that, he could get an edge ahead.

If you want to know, whether an affiliate network is a scam, you must use it yourself. That't the only surefire way to know.

Paypal is a payment processor.
Dropbox has an in-house affiliate program for dropbox services. That's it.

I don't like clickbank.. too many people market those products there.. also I'm looking for info products that work in the first place, so do consumers.. many video or audio courses look nice but don't work, which leads to high refund rates, also they are often way too large in download size..

 

I saw here on the thread smb asked about the affiliate program for tickets. I haven’t come across a better option than Kayak _travelpayouts.com/en/offers/kayak-affiliate-program . Although there is still a good program from Skyscanner, I prefer Kayak. Have been using it for about 13 months.

 

All digital products, whether they work or not, have a high refund rate.
The only way to reduce the refund rate is to add a physical product (as an upsell of course).
