i already broke mine to work on all the sites i ignored for a year..im still ignorning them.. this is why i think NY rez's are somewhat useless
I am, I decided to give up smoking and I haven't smoked one cigarette since new years (or before for that matter, but thats irrelevent )
ive kept mine so far (i had 2) 1] be more positive (i have) 2] learn something new (im learning PHP/MySQL)
Those are good ones, I like them. Mine was about quitting the caffeine - and I am still off. Sure once every two weeks I fall in and have a really good tasting cup of java but I stop at that. I never want to go back to drinking 6-8 cups of coffee a day or more. No way /miko67
I broke mine January 1st , but have kept it since then. I swore off sweets and all desserts for January. Mostly for weight control. So my son and his wife returned from Hawaii and came over to our house on January 1st, with a nice present of chocolate-covered macademia nuts. I had one halfway down before I remembered my short-lived resolution. Oh well, I've kept it since then.
similar to mine, the idea is not to try it all in the first month, space it out otherwise u will get annoyed/stressed out if something goes wrong.
My resolution is to restructure my sites, increase revenue from existing sites, decrease overhead costs and to create a profitable web-development business. The restructuring is going on now. Revenue is slightly up from this time last year. Overhead costs are way down. I havn't gotten to the business part yet.
hahaha reminds me lets recap on my resolutions: 1)stop smoking 2)love my girlfriend more 3)earn more with sites well guess what: 1)I am not stopping lol 2)I broke up with my girlfriend 3)I do earn more so 1 of them i did achieve .
One in three ain't bad Now all you gotta do next year is figure out nine different resolutions and then three will work for you I love statistics /miko67 PS: I had another couple of resolutions, but they didn't... well they are going to... let's just say when the weather gets a little friendlier for outdoors activities, then I'll make up for resolution no two. Number three is soo out of the question - why would anybody want to stop eating anyway... ridiculous
I have the same problem. It's very hard to stay committed but usually I make up my own resolution as the year goes on.
It happens to me every year. I set a resolution but never stick to it. And once again this year, I haven't stuck to mine. Westoff.
I couldn't decide between eating healthier, quitting smoking, or focusing more on work. I didn't realize I could make all three so I didn't make a resolution this year! Since when did the rules change lol I thought one resolution was all we were allowed ;0)
