Who is qualified to give a dropped domain buying tutorial?

    Case Study:

I purchased about 10 registered domains a while back in two separate transactions from two different sellers. In one batch, all the dropped domains lost their "PR 4" pagerank. The other batch has maintained it to this day.

    Can someone explain:

    1. What to look for when buying dropped domains
    2. The difference between real and fake PR
    3. Beneficial PR checking tools and how to use them.
    4. The pro's and con's of buying registered vs. un-registered domains
    5. Etc.

Whoever could do this would really help a lot of Digital Pointers out there and generate some high traffic to their thread. I, for one, would be grateful!

Anybody up to the challenge? Please drop some knowledge on us! ;)
