Who is Owner of 2thelinks.com?

    I just noticed it is hacked now. It is one of the well indexed directory. I can't understand why eSyndiCat directories are being hacked so often. In last 2 months a lot of directories (those using esyndicat script) are hacked. :mad:

    I'd imagine it would to attributed to the hosting. but ya never know.

    This is the reason why I use a quality hosting company that has very tight security. I like blue host because they are solid and I do not have to pay a monthly fee, heck I will not pay them for at least another year and a half.

    I've observed that the hackers mainly target mid to high profile hosts.

    Their is a huge hole in eSyndiCat 2.1. If you are using this version, anyone can access your Admin Area that uses the decryption scheme. Remedy? .htaccess protect your /admin/ folder and your good to go. You should do this anyways to be safe... but v.2.1 of eSyndiCat has the hole. A fix has been applied in later versions.
