Who is misleading millions of Christians - God or Devil ?

Recently, I came across a report saying Millions of Christians have been observing the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on the wrong day. It appears that Christians should have been observing 'Good Wednesday', not 'Good Friday'.

    Links to few related articles:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Good_Friday

If Crucifixion was on Good Friday and Christ resurrected on Sunday then Christ failed in his prophecy according to Matthew 12:38-40

"An evil and adulterous generation craves for a sign; yet no sign shall be given to it but the sign of Jonah the prophet; for just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the sea monster; so shall the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." Matthew 12:38-40

I believe Christ's prophecy has been fulfilled and he was in the heart of the earth for THREE DAYS and THREE NIGHTS and Good Friday is a Myth.

My question is: Who is misleading millions of Christians - God or Devil ?

    Ishaq.

Doe you think God and or the devil want to mislead just one group of people on the earth? Since God is the same God that jews, christians, and muslims worship, wouldn't we all be considered when God chooses to mislead someone (which I doubt God would do)?

lat time I checked J.W.'s didn't even believe in the Trinity...and no I don't think God would intentionally lead one group astray...to say that the devil is leading people astray gives the devil to much credit.

    I don't think it matters.

The God that created me knows I'm not all-knowing, and is cool with that.

If Satan's "worst" is leading people to celebrate on the "wrong day" (on a calendar that is simply a social construct and meaningless except to maintain some semblance of order), then he's wasting his time... :)

Giving the devil this much credit leads to saying that the devil is the opposite of God, which is false. At best, the devil is only as strong as the top angel, commonly known to be Michael the Archangel. If the devil was opposite God, we would then have two gods, one good and one evil.

The first thing that is wrong with this thread that there is a assumption that god or the devil is real ;)

We won't go there, WT. ;) People percieve these "constructs" as they see fit, but we can agree they're certainly universal in human consciousness.

The "devil" is regarded to be the king of this realm - all things worldly. He has staked his claim, and the Bible supports this.

Actually you are wrong. You see, a individual's intelligence can be proven, but the biblical god or devil can not be proven.

"Christians celebrate (so and so) on wrong day"
    "islam doesn't tolerate terror"

I don't believe this because I feel that Jesus was just trying to buy into Easter, just like he did with Christamas.

Yes something had to create all of this, and if something created all of this, it can be proven. Whether it is science, or a "god", or some intelligent life form

I can happily say I keep a open mind in searching and learning for the truth of what created this, not just blinding believing something is true only because I "feel" or someone told me it is the truth. This is what gives me peace of mind.
