If Adsense is the case, you might be interested in this info.

i) homepage, remove the image "headlines", it is not helping you Adsense and SEO wise. Instead use a table 2 columns, left column put 4 nice small images, vertically placed, right column 336 ads.. separated by a gret dotted line..

ii) do the same for below.

iii) remove tower ads. sell something else from CJ or other networks.

iv) remove 468 adlinks, and Put <h1>Title</h1> instead. Left Sidebar Create another box and call it Advertisers, put 120 adlinks etc. Remove the ads from Partners.

v) http://www.healthsession.com/articles/stroke-symptom.html instead of div align right, div align left instead... that way get more attention to readers, and look more natural..

I liike the design on your site... pretty nice.
Very very healthy traffic. You deserve much more income than that.
I got 2 suggestions to you.

i) monetise your members with nice offers from CJ or other network.. something that requires them to give their email and some details for something in return. Since your members has already given you their email, that shows that they dun mind giving their emails out in exchange for something.

DO a survey first b4 you send them emails full of offers and monetise on them. Find out their demography. And if you can add such details to your member sign up form. Age, Sex, Location.

That way you can know what will interest them. In fact you can ask them directly what do they like about your site an what will interest them etc..

ii) change your 468 ads into 2 X 336 ads next o each other. I think it might look not so nice, but i think it should increase your CTR by a huge %tage.

I am curious, do you not do a lot of linking??? ITs a PR 2.

i) Maybe you can add 2 336 on top and see how it works for you.
ii) Hows your CTR on the top 234 ads next to the logo? I reckon very low, about 1% maybe lower?
iii) take away the sidebar ads.

Try it for a week and see hows the result..
I will not even say anything for the forum becos CTR for forums are always low.. 0.01% CTR etc...

Hey,

My primary goal (unlike many other webmasters) was to gain visitors. Accordingly, rather than promoting the homepage per se, I concentrated on marketing particular games to several websites. Hence, the result was a large inflow of traffic to particular games, some of whom browsed the website further. If I had merely concentrated on gaining backlinks for the homepage so as to increase the pagerank, I may have not been as popular today.

On the contrary, I have manually submitted my website to over 1,500 directories within the past month. Now when I query Google with the term ‘arcadetemple’ – there are far more results. I have also written an article and submitted it to several websites. My goal, at this point, is to rank on the first page for the term ‘online games’ on Google.

In spite of them looking horrendous, I will try out the ‘ 336 x 280’ for a day or two. I will post my results here, and if the CTR doesn’t increase drastically – I would much rather sacrifice some income for a better looking website.

Ouch, this looks worse than I expected.

 

Google is telling me that you are ranked 154 for online games.. And no where within 1000 with MSN and Yahoo.. Maybe you need to do some good backlinks.

Boost your PR.. will get you ranked higher, not the only factor but it does help by a fair bit.

I just went to see your site.. In terms of Adsense, i love it!!! Assuming you have 4000 uniques today and for the next 2-3 days, you should get a very good CTR.. Buy me coffee when that happens. I do suggest you put it there for a full week and do a week-on-week comparison.. CTR, earnings and clicks ratios.

PS: if you give me 4000 uniques a day, I can convert them into approx $50 or more a day, in Adsense $$.. You dunno what you are missing out, until you see it for yourself...

wow, thats alot of info to digest. (been looking at pg 8, wondering why you didn't reply, lol) i will do 4 & 5, been wanting to remove the link unit. it isn't giving gd ctr. not sure about 1 though, i dun think i can place images next to ads, or did i misread your meaning.

i like pt #3, that gives me a new direction to do my online biz. thx. i will look through them and find some affiliates. great advice! reps up for you.

Any insight would be appreciated. Could use some help adding adsense to my wordpress blog as I cant alter the code as easy as I can in Blogger.

It literarily took me a couple of minutes to update the Adsense codes, since I have an administration panel that permits me to alter the entire website’s advertisements in a jiffy. It is altering their actual placements that would consume heaps of time. In either case, despite my hosting going down for several hours and the weekends being my lowest paying days, I managed to generate over $7 in earnings today! I will maintain the current placement for a couple of more days, before I experiment further with something that may be a bit more visually appealing. I will update you again in a few days!

 

That's good to know Mr Websites (whats your first name). We definitely would love to hear something from you. Maybe when you come back, give us some screenshots too... Some visual proof of your stats, only the important parts etc.. .
