Just one thing to say to you:

Change the template. red and grey is not very pleasing to the eyes. Read this entire thread and find out more about templates.

Change that template and get more ideas from the people who asked me for reviews in the last pages.. and then if you think you still need assistance, let me know again here, with the information again thanks.

Very cool site Matt, and the videos.. Very niche. Well done.
Just a few things to note:

i) http://rudimentstudies.com/vid8.htm maybe you can put a 336 ads to the right of the video. And remove the 728..

ii) http://rudimentstudies.com/t2.htm I dunno if you are doing testing or its just part of the design, but your 728 ads shows different color on top and bottom of the page. If its me, i try to keep to one color, and remain consistent.

iii) http://rudimentstudies.com/2.htm nice image near ads.. but maybe if you try using a thiner border, or a lighter dark color. grey.. it will help a bit i think.

iv) traffic, need to build on that.

v) i m not really a fan of adlinks, but how's your result with that? Do you track clicks from adlinks? if they are working for you good. If its not, remove it, does not add much value to your site. Instead it adds as rival to your adsense.

Hi Moin,
I am using 1024X768 as the screen resolution, and I cannot see any 336 above the fold, in your article pages.

1st your logo is too big and tall, and is distractive.

Put a 336 ads under title of your post, plus use a more prominent hyperlink font color, and use the same color for adsense's hyperlink font, and you should see some good improvements.

Traffic, build up more good pages, and backlinks. Expansion will come naturally.

Site is sill being developed so I havent had time to adsense optimise it yet, ive been too busy adding features and content.

 

Try to switch the color of the ads font...
Hyperlink and URL switch over.
At least then, it will match the CSS of the blog.

A lot of distraction from your 3 columns template.. can you do with just 2 columns?
Put another 336 at the end of the post, just before comments.

Consistency we need from your site. Neat and tidy will get your visitors more impressed. And it does make a diference to your income.

You were totally right about the template, and it just so happened, that the day you saw it I was updating my template. I made an error and the site was down so I switched to the old classic template. My earnings have jumped with the new design, and I think I have some of the craziest click thru rates in history (probably due to low amounts of traffic). Almost as I if I am having my friends do the clicking, but that would be way lame. Wanted to say thanks for the insights, Now I need to work in traffic.

I am near 75 uniques per day, but thats way low and I have been up a month now. If anyone knows a good post on DP for increasing traffic for newbies please PM me. I have searched but get overwhelmed with results.

Its good to know that you have benefit from my suggestions.

Traffic wise, you are in a tight niche, which you will need a lot of work to get ranked high for common search terms. But nothing is too tight, you just need to know how to get around it. If you have a budget, our seo company will be able to help you.
