I run a website dedicated to keeping and caring for the Oscar Fish so we have a targeted audience. The website receives an average of 2000 hits each day, sometimes more, sometimes a little less. I have spent a considerable amount of time and effort to place my Google ads in the position that generates clicks. Even so, the amount of clicks my ads receive seem rather minute compared to how many visitors the site receives each day.I suppose it is anything from 25, up to 70 clicks per day. For the last few months I have been exceeding £200 per month, last month was £322, the month of August is definitely my best ever, I would imagine around £350 for the month. The three most important things that will give you fairly good success is definitely having excellent content with preferably a targeted audience. Definitely the 2 most important factors into being successful with AdSense is where you place your ads and how many people visit your website each day. Google AdSense placement is definitely vital, place your ads in the wrong place and you will not get many clicks, put them in the right place and you'll be amazed how the clicks increased. Finally, blending in your Google ads is important, if they look unsightly, out of place then people won't bother clicking on them. Hope that helps
