Okay I never even heard anything about Adsense until yesterday or anything like it. Where are all these people that are making $8000 after a month or $3000 a week after using Adsense GOld track....just ads hyping their product? I am assuming. Does ANYONE make that kind of money doing this? Seriously. I just want to know before I even waste my time trying to conquer the learning curve of this thing. Honest answers are GREAT!!!!! Thanks
The only learning curve is vast amounts of traffic. How many visitors per day would you expect a site to receive that is making $300+ per day? At least 2,000 visitors? 5,000 visitors? 10,000 visitors? Adsense, or any pay-per-click advertising, requires a lot of traffic to make decent money. If you don't have the traffic, you won't make jack. Affiliate programs where you get paid per action, on the other hand, do not require as much traffic-- just more focused buying traffic.
I'm only making four figures a month in Adsense, not five, but I can tell you that it's not that difficult. You just need to get traffic to your website(s). I advocate making good websites with quality content, that other webmasters will want to link to, and that people who visit your site will want to return to, but I do realize that some people make more than I do by being dishonest.
Yes, lots of people (not me) make 5 figures a month with AdSense. Learning the tricks about AdSense placement and optimization is pretty easy, with the main rules being "experiment" and "follow the official Google tips." The real trick is to create a website interesting enough that lots of people will link to it without being asked and will visit it over and over. If you're confident you can do that, and market it, then you can make a lot of money in AdSense. There are some people who get rich quick by using automation software to clutter the web with thousands or millions of annoying auto-generated garbage websites in hopes of worming themselves into the position of unwanted middleman for somebody making a purchase somewhere. Most get-rich-quick schemes that try to sell you a product are along those lines, and I imagine that for every one person who succeeds with those, hundreds fail. And success with those schemes is sure to be short-lived, because Google is constantly evolving its algorithm to prevent them. Your sites will become worthless to you eventually unless you stay on top of the latest ways to trick the system for the rest of your life. Having a real, quality website doesn't pose any of those long-term problems.
Thanks everyone for your responses. I apparently sounded offensive from the first response that I got, but I was trying to get a little insite on this thing. I KNOW NOTHING...and when I say that I know nothing, I mean I know NOTHING!!!!!!! I just wanted to see if this is something that I should even invest 10 minutes in...because I don't even have that really. But I appreciate all of the responses. I had just happened upon this website clicking around after viewing this adsensegold.com and they were saying that you can go from making $500 a month to making $8000 a month by using that tracking system....and of course they are trying to sell me something so they are going to glorify any and everything that they can. Thanks again.
I disagree. It's the easiest way to make money on your websites. You just slap up the code and cash the checks. Very, very easy. Of course, you can spend time tinkering with the placement of the ads, the colors, and such, but I wouldn't exactly call that hard work.
yup agree. its the easiest way. i closed my web designing firm and concentrate fully on seo and adsense and stuff like that. from scratch, 1st month - $ 600 2nd month - $ 1600 i should be hitting $10k by 3rd month.. what you need is a set of good tools, LOTS AND LOTS OF READING! .. i spend first 10 days reading continuously on all possible info .. then now i spend 5 hours a day just reading. 12 hours building stuff. but i m coder.. so it helps a lot in terms of scaling up stuff but anyway i still think its the best decision i've made so far go for it!
I think you're approaching it in the wrong way, maybe. But, this thread is about making 10K a month in Adsense, not how to get ranked.
getting a high rank = lots of visitors = more money in adsense you can have the best CTR, best ad placement, etc, but in the end, you need LOTS of visitors to earn some good money. And getting those visitors is requiring some work.
I don't think you need lots of visitors, and I don't think you should depend on high rankings for your income either. For example, I have several sites that get less than 100 unique visits a day, but they consistantly get $5 to $10 a day in Adsense, and none of them have very good rankings in the search engines. Depending on search engine traffic is a recipe for disaster, too many people get wiped out every time Google updates, for example. I'd never recommend anyone to put themselves in that position. Not that I ignore search engine traffic, but I'm far happier about my sites that earn good regular income from non-search einge traffic.
I disagree It might be the easiest way to make money, but definitely not the most effective for a lot of sites. To the thread starter, not many people will admit to make that much money with Adsense, it's fickle. Also, not many people make that much with Adsense if you put it into perspective. 1 out of every 5,000? Probably less.
I don't think people just get wiped out by Google at every update. I have seen sites occupy the same SERPS for keywords for years. Yes, some do get wiped out but often find themselves back to their original positions. Admittedly though, building traffic from other sources is a great idea.
I think it is a curve that people struggle to build a website and make some money. But after some point it becomes easy and second nature to build a website and make $xx,xxx.xx a month.
