Hello Digital Forum Members, I want to know that Who is king in Search Engine Optimization? This question is very important for me because I don't have time to spend on both process, so can anybody help me in this issue?
If you don't have time to spend on both then you likely don't have time to spend on either... On-page SEO should always be taken care of first since it is something that is always in your control... In fact, I would argue that if it's done as part of creating the page then it really doesn't cost anything extra as far as time... In other words, if you do it right the first time then it doesn't require extra time to "fix it" later. Off-page SEO carries more weight from a ranking perspective but you don't always control who links to you, where the link is placed, and what link text they use. So a lot of off-page ranking factors are influenced by things out of your control, except for those unnatural links you "plant" yourself which for 99.9% of the sites out there are low quality links. So take your pick... I, personally, would never settle for one or the other. I wouldn't try to fool myself into thinking it's ok to only do one. The "O" in SEO stands for optimization and that means making the most of what you have. Doing on-page and not off-page or visa versa is not optimizing a page... it's mediocritizing it.
The on page and Off page (SEO) factors are vital for every single SEO project, each one has it own singularities and importance. They work together.
content is the king so that would be onpage. offpage is the military. more soldiers (backlinks) you have, more war (higher ranking crushing your competition) you win
If you care about your rankings, be more involved in your off-page SEO. However, make sure your on-page is good first. Have good content and make sure your keywords and description is good.
Both of them are equally important. But in my opinion off page optimization in given more preference than on page.
Actually as others mentioned, they both are equally important. Its like the 2 wheels of bicycle...both are equally important. But to start with on page is important. The right site structure, meta tags and sitemap. To maintain the rankings or improve it after doing everything in on page, one needs to work on off page factors like links and directory submission
On page - It is important part as through this only you get your website links and other important factors to get highly ranked in SE's. Off page - While G is considering websites which are brand today so you need to make your website brand with the best possible way you think. Both of them are important and you cannot ignore any of them.
Enough of On page SEO Vs Off page SEO. Here is my take - both are important. if your site has large number of dynamically generated content, it is important that the design comply to on page SEO.
if you spend lot of time in seo, and you don't want to know who is the king? means you don't work properly on serach engine properties, everyone done on page one time but off page carry your whole the process so i want to that both are very important for optimization. I want to say on page is right hand and off page is left hand
I tell my clients that its like making a cake, you need the right ingredients - it's a formula that you use and when you mess up the formula you get a rubbish cake!
