God is, IMHO, a universal energy which feeds all living things. When something living dies, their energy is recycled back into the whole. We can all draw on this energy whenever we want, if we allow it to happen. There is no being sitting on a throne, and Jesus was just a great teacher who changed the world, but there was no hanky panky going on between the holy ghost and Mary. That's because there is no holy ghost. The whole universe is made up of energy particles. When enough energy particles gather together, miracles happen, like oak trees. Also, based on my scientific interpretation of your mish-mash (IE, god=biosphere), you believe that the biosphere is ours, and our natural right is to destroy it for our benefit. (this view also admits that s/he/it [god] came about by chance as energy from the sun being built up in earth's biosphere. I'm glad you admit that jesus had no supernatural powers, and that there's no guy on a throne, it is more natural. Actually, the whole universe is made up of particles and energy (photons/light). Many of the particles have energy, such as heat, associated with them. Yes, there is an extremely powerful force driving that along. Let's play a guessing game: 4 x 10^31 watts, 150 million km away (93 million miles), huge fusion reactor...That's right! The SUN is helping that acorn along. ________ However, your version of god isn't that bad. It is effectively worship of nature, which is a rational and defensible position if you allow that nature was not created by god.
If God is so loving, why there is tsunami, earth quake, hurricane, hunger everywhere, so many sickness like cancer, aids, and etc etc? why somebody mother had to die or somebody children had to die? not so loving to me. if God so loving as you said, he will create heaven on this earth where there is no pain, only happiness.
There need to be hardships. Yin and Yang can not exist without the other. This life was created for the sole purpose of testing us, to which we will eternally live in heaven or hell. If the above hardships didn't exist, we would practically be living in heaven, so basically there is no purpose for this life. Peace,

Your post was almost as confusing as the Bible itself... Seriously though, I think it's great if you have faith, and I hope it makes you a better person. However, please understand the posters that make fun of religion (sadly, as you put it), do not share your interpretation of what is true. Since there is no way to prove any religions veracity at this point, the truth of any faith or lack thereof is equally correct to those expressing those beliefs.
