    I don't agree agree that Google is the 'father of SEO' primarly because Google is a search engine and not an SEO company and they weren't even close to being the first search engine. Who remembers AltaVista, Lycos, Hot Bot, Ask Jeeves, Go, Excite, AOL Search etc. Around way before Google.

    its just a method that has come along a long way in digital marketing. there isnt a founder for this type of method,
    when people having business websites wanted more people to visit their websites, the old fashioned method of contacting ppl and promoting got difficult and the seo tricks and methods came intio existence slowly.
    as days passed it has advance dinto 2 partitions like off page and on page seo methods.
