Some Wild West Domains (part of GoDaddy) resellers are currently running a $6.95 .com promotion.

Thanks for that. I will use Godaddy. The previous code did not work so I thought their offer was over.

It's ok to look at your signature but i think you ommit registrars that don't give any affiliate system to use

I believe if you make a clean comparison would be ok, right now it's an affiliate page with sorted values

Also my advice for your sites is to lighten them a bit, too many affiliate links of various kinds. Usually people avoid the "please click my links and buy" pages when from the first impression shout so loud

Where say click in my signature and buy? Man, last time you told me "you need to redisgn the site", I like my site, I got very nice feedback, and I dont tell you anything about your site design of KENOM. (Really I dont like the design, but it is my personal opinion, and I am not tell you change the design)

I compare these companies, if you want to use them great! if not, great! This is only information, and of course as do the 90% people here in DP Forum I'm using affilite link.

Do the site take me time, research the information take time, and If I want to add affilite link what is the problem?

Again, I am not tell here, PLEASE CLICK in the affilite link, here in DP forum the 99% know about it, they can look around the prices and go directly to the service.....

And please not enter to my signature to compare prices, is better to research information around DP forum and in google, where say Namechea 8.88, and I can not share my information...

Maybe you don't get it jakomo
I didn't say you mention the "please click" but that's the attitude you extract from first visit

If you don't want someone to tell you his opinion fine, i won't, however this is not the spirit of forums and of course i will research the prices here in DP, isn't this the reason we share our opinions here ?

It's not an advertising forum to create content only to our sites and point them there. It's good but not the optimum for forum content

However i believe you should be more productive in the forum, i saw many posts that you say "check my sig" all the time and that's all

Isd that whois guard offer only for the first year. What if you want to renew next year, will the whois guard remain free? Whats the normal price for whois protection? Also, can I point the domain to another nameservers free or must I open ahosting account with them?

UPDATE: It appears Godaddy offers free private registration if you order 5 or more domains.

I believe it is just for the first year but after that it is $2.88 a year for one or you can protect two domains for $4.88 or five for $7.88.

You can push to another account for free if you sell a domain and you can change name servers as often as you want for free to any host. In fact I have one pointed to my free blogspot and was unsure how to do it and their support did it for me in a few minutes after I emailed them. I have been very pleased with them and the transfer to them was very smooth.

    Thanks!

I decided to go with Namecheap because their prices are substantially cheaper in the long run than Godaddy.

Private registration fees (without special offer)

    Name cheap $2.88
    Godaddy $8.99

    Thats a big difference.

    Hello domom,

Thanks again, of course accept comments, you last comment was make is free without register, and I did it in part of the site...

If there are information in my site and I am not selling anything, why I cannot share it?

I believe I'm productive doing tools (maybe for you it is not a tool, but for the of 500 members yes) for the DP member, but well is my opinion, if I have in the site information that users are asking, what is the problem to make referece to my site?

All right dommon, make your deal, I'm doing my deal, and I'm sharing free information, people are intelligent to know if I'm sellining something or not, or if I'm sharing useful information or not.

Here for example ask about what is the cheaper one, I have worked to collect a list of registrants, and I like share this information with affilite links, yes guys, the links have affilite urls :) uhhhh

Here stop my comments, and if the 50% of the people are desagree with my tool, I can take off this, but just you told me something about bad design, you are adverstiment here, you you you.... I got many PM and got many message saying great tool, thanks bla bla I said all THANKS!

Always I accept positive opinions :)

Sorry for this long post guys!

    I withdraw my comments jakomo
You are a webmaster and you do as you like

However if i was really responsible and professional i would like to hear more negative comments than positive, the thing here is not to boost my ego but to make better my service

If for you your services are perfect and the 500 members are your highest goal then i think everything is fine

Case closed for me, i don't like to give free advices for honest impovement and tell me back that they didn't like them

Cheapest, I think is Yahoo @ $2 or something like that, but heard they suck so would avoid them
