$7.61 is because you register one domain. Just now I mentioned is bulk pricing since I don't know how many domain u want to register. with 10% in godaddy you can get ~$7.20 for a us domain.

    Thanx 2 All

    Updates

going for name.com new .us $5.95 and renewals $7.99 for single domain (done-taken + free google apps)

(it's saying they have a promo as a box appears asking for promo code...which may add some free service to domain like who is privacy etc- so does any body have Name.Com promo codes ?)

considering bulk mydomain.com as mentioned in above posts are cheap.

Yahoo domain ($1.99 1st year price) supports yahoo wallet which supports paypal but needs active creditcard in paypal account...

I would never ever register a domain at Yahoo. I'd rather spend a bit more and buy from a reputable registrar
