I have been using powerhoster.com for several years. I think they are the cheapest !

    $6.95 for .com
    $1.99 for .info
    $6.99 for .org
    $12.99 for .eu
    $9.98 for .co.uk

Yes. they provide name server service. I registered several name servers with them.

Godaddy is the cheapest if you use a coupon , but you can go also for namecheap...a little bit more expensive but reliable. If you buy 1-2 domains you will not make big deal saving 1-2 bucks just to buy from some overnight resellers.

Namecheap may not be the cheapest, however I have always used them and find them quite good, (Never had any issues)

google: godaddy (coupons OR promo OR codes)

So with the coupons to make domains 6.95, does that make godaddy the cheapest? What about namecheap.com or name.com? Do those prices only apply if you buy more stuff? Is it still the best if I want to reg about 10 domains?

If you do this, the domain won't renew at 1.99 too will it? (i can be wishful)

Also about hosting: I hear dreamhost.com is good. (no proof, just a buzzword on the forum) Would it be a pain to register and host with godaddy, and then switch to dreamhost?

    Thanks

I like 1and1.com because they give you FREE private registration. GoDaddy charges for that I believe.
