Who is buying .co names on tuesday or did you pre reg. for some?

Do you think any of them will have any value besides the sex.co and etc.

Seems good for companies to buy even know its for a country Columbia

.co can very easily be misunderstood as .com and it would be little tough to stress all the time to remind visitors of the absence of 'm'! I do not expect this tld to gain much popularity and so would be giving it a miss!

I agree with you but the beginning i'm sure we will see a rush , have to see what the market does with them, I myself pre-reg. for one name if i get it i'll be very happy it's one word direct name to 5 million searches a month. Worth a shot and see

I preregistered two .CO domains with two words in them :)

One will be very competitive, I'm even racing someone who preregistered it through GoDaddy before me (I preregistered it through name.com)

I registered one today. How long will it take to process the application? They will never live up to the .com but it sure would be nice to sell on a good keyword domain while all the hype is still happening.

Be quick to cash out asap... as I doubt the initial hype would last for long. They are coming out with new tlds fairly quickly these days and so the hype of such launch gets evaporated fairly quickly as well!

Unless you get a really generic or geo domain I doubt the value will maintain in a few months time.

I reg'd a few nice keywords... Going to give it a test on how well it will do in search engines, considering it is a columbian extension, and probably won't rank as well as .co.uk (google UK) or the .com ofcourse.

With enough optimisation i think i could expect some decent results though.

Don't bother with landrush anymore, it's going public any minute now. Godaddy says 2:00 EST, according to their .CO splash page.

My pre-regs on name still haven't done anything. A bit anxious to get these new domains.

Some idiot regged my nickname orz.co , I bet he's one this that will never manage to make any project and will never sell it as it doesn't even have a meaning anywhere besides china as an emotion symbol lol.
Also checked some other names all "keywords" are regged at godaddy, but I'm sure this will be a pile of useless domains that will never see daylight as they will be on sedo for years rofl.

I picked up 2 .co keyword domains, both of which get 350K searches a month and are in a niche I'm interested in.

You can buy them on NameCheap right now, I did a search for a few keyword domains and they all seem to be taken.

I wanted to get www.pet.co but that was taken.

You can forget one word domains, they've all been taken for ages. Keep in mind that .co has been around for many years.
