windows 7 is far better than XP, windows 7 has a very nice look and feel.....Graphical User Interface (GUI) components are good in the Windows 7, The window 7 is proved to be great in the latest motherboard and the processors. There are also various themes that are available along with the operating system and various themes can also be created and implemented by the user. The drivers for all the hardware comes along with the operating system. There is no necessity for the external driver components for the operating system. The operating system is very fast

Windows XP / Vista / Seven = so bad, many exploits !

even with a good AntiVirus + Firewall, you can hack boxes with a simple Metasploit + Nmap.
Windows 8 will be worse, an official backdoor will be added to spy you.

An advice ? turn on Linux / BSD !

Over all Ill do it too ways. Most advanced and improve Win7,
but overall useful compatible, ill go with XP.

I got so much stuff riding with xp, but I got some programs that im using (some moding tools for games) that just dont work properly in win7.
Even with converting the exe in cmd and all those commands. Im an IT tech at a hospital, and we are JUST now about to do huge win7 rollouts and ghosting to replace XP. will take us about 15 months to complete the whole hospital. I look at things for overall usage and productivity then flash and graphics. but their both good. Im keeping winxp for ever on my 2007 gaming rig I build. PC gaming is dead IMO so no need to upgrade that when its more power then consoles. My laptop is win7. so im all good.

Windows XP all the way. Runs perfectly on every machine / laptop I've got. Windows 7 (and 8) run too slow... :/

I am only using Windows Xp because my laptop is pretty old and it's drivers are only made for this version. I'd rather use windows 7, from my experience in using w7 it was more reliable. Oh well, i probably need a laptop upgrade :)

You know, it took me a while to let Windows XP go too. I loved it. But I did eventually make the final move. I still miss it at times, we had a love-hate relationship. I do think Windows 7 is very nice though. Its a good replacement, in the case that your looking for a loving, caring home for your pc that compares to the Windows XP family that took care of it :p. I hear ya buddy, but the moves not bad
