I don't know much about football's player please suggest some name.

 

I think Diego Lugano is the best defender in World Cup.

when he says defender of goal could he mean Goal Keeper or Defender??

If defender it is hard because they have different strengths and it depends if they are playing with another defender who compliments those strengths (One of the reasons why England let in 4 goals)
