Nah...I meant that Liverpool comes first for me..If it is Pool vs MU then I support Pool ...if I want an ideal final it would be Pool against MU....I have a soft corner for MU..if Pool were to be knocked out of any competition i'd love to see MU win;)

And Matt,Exeter City..quite good we do not see many fans of lower division teams:(
...I have a friend who supports Man City and West Ham...hopes everytime that City will get into the Champions League or something like that...but it never happens...when he was watching City against Chelsea he remarked that Pearce should replace Ben Thatcher....frustration had crept into him quite a lot...But he hopes for the best every year...

"Iedereen van top tot teen is een fan van Heerenveen want zo'n club is er maar 1!" :D

Used to be big SC Heerenveen fan ('we' prepped Ruud van Nistelrooy, Klaas Jan Huntelaar, Jon Dahl Tomasson and many more stars), and AJAX on the side back when they ruled Europe.

Now I live in the UK I'm mostly a Chelsea fan though I can ejoy any team playing well really.

I'm glad you didn't say they are quite good ;)

They've had their problems, though hopefully they'll get back into the third division this year.

On a side note Exeter must win the award for having the weidest ever directors, including Michael Jackson (Weirdo), Uri Geller (Spoon Bender), David Prowse (Darth Vader) and Freddy Starr (Eats Hampsters)

Post Roman though that's more to do with the fact that I moved here around that time than with his money. When I was very young I was a Liverpool fan actually.

I don't like Arsenal's attitude though Wenger is a great icon. Man Utd are too average. Liverpool are cute but just not appealing to me. Chelsea have a winning attitude and aim very high. That's what I like.

The translation is roughly: "Everybody is a fan of Heerenveen because it's a one of a kind club". Sounds crap like that but as part of a song it's OK.

I actually have an AJAX door mat in my London flat :)

Do Ajax and Hereenveen have any kind of rivalry in Dutch football???Holland is dominated by the trio of Ajax,Feyernoord and PSV but of late teams like Alkmaar are making their presence felt.

I appreciate the reason you gave for supporting Chelsea...

I do not like chaps who started to support Chelsea just cos it became a top class club with Roman's billions....

Was the chap who created AJAX by any chance an AJAX fan???

Not like Ajax and Feyenoord where they slaughter each other in a field. Heerenveen is like the nice country side football club every body likes (because of the previous coach who this year took u21 to win the EC).

Can't find the Ajax website in a rush, used to be #1 until Web 2.0 came along. But Ajax isn't the money laundering outfit for dirty oil money that Chelsea is, no.

Lol Chelsea want a straight swap Gallas for Cole like thats ever going to happen. I think Cole will stay because doesnt look like Chelsea are willing to pay the £25m for him. But true Walcott looks good.

    The mighty Preston North End.

The nearly men of English Football, and the only team with a chairman that claims that selling all your best players and forcing out the best young manager in the league is the best expression of the club's ambition.

Not anymore, apart from the odd kickabout in the park. I played up until under 18s and then got tall and started playing rugby which is what I do on saturdays now.

Shit, I had SkySports open but forgot all about it. Was 1-0 last time I looked and now (good fro Bro) Southgate pulled the same trick Reading pulled on them. Oh well, at least Shevke is off the mark and we don't have an early season run-away train again.

Nice to hear Ole got on the sheet as well.

And I see Arsenal came back from behind as well, with a 91st minute goal! Ajax lost :(
