Who invented the net?

I am looking to find out the guy or girls name who actally invented the internet im really wanting to know this one i have a great intrest in finding out how much he made if he is dead or alive or sheeeeee but i think it was a he

Here's a hint: Bill Clinton picked this guy as his companion for eight years back in da 90s while President of da United States of America!!!

 

There is no one person who "invented" the net. Like all great technologies, it is the result of a lot of people. Tim Berners Lee is one. Vint Cerf is another. But again, this is just two of the many people who are responsible for the Internet.

Calling one person the "inventor" of the Internet is like saying Robert Oppenheimer is the "father" of the nuclear bomb. Again, a large number of scientists around the world were responsible for its development, and you can't really give credit to one man. The same with the Internet.

It was invented for a reason for the military to share information on research and development in scientific in the war against USA and Russia on 1960..
It was first called as ARPANET and connect to four Universities:UCLA, Stanford Research Institute, UCSB, and the University of Utah.

ARPA's research in improving the military's use of computer technology was the main reason why Internet was invented
