Who here owns a PayPal account using their REAL information?

Hi. After seeing several posts by individuals who have opened fake PayPal accounts via fraud, I was wondering if there was anyone here besides myself that has a real PayPal account that was opened using their real information. Anyone?

& till now i have never used any fake information anywhere

Most seem to be from Pakistan, or teenagers from India.

DP members are young and i believe that you are not allowed to register a PP account if you are under 18.

Am i wrong?

 

Well my account's real for sure.

I wouldn't fake it anyways, because I live in a supported country.

 

Yea you do have to be at least 18 years old to open a PayPal account. I forgot to add that to the second choice in the poll. I, too, noticed DP has a young crowd. Makes me feel all old. haha.

Well so far, glad to see some real PayPal accountholders here on DP. I knew there were some just blinded by the fake ones. hehe.

 

i use my real information. My country is supported.
I also have 4-5 more fake paypal accounts for different situations... you never know.

I own a PayPal in my name of course too. But normally this one only is used to send payments, not to recieve as I don´t like PP as payment option as a seller. As a buyer of course I use PayPal because in worst case I can always try to make a chargeback if I have been scammed. But unfortunately this doesn´t help always, you can loose too even if you won the dispute if "seller" transfered money between some accs. Then it has gone too.

 

someone told me that paypal track your ip and if they see a new account with different details they limet both accounts. someone owed me $4,000 for months and didnt pay because they were saying that paypal was limiting every account they made.. i dont know if this is true or just an exuse not me pay me. if it is then i think it would be quite hard to open a fake account

 

I used my real information, but there are some sites that I think are phishy that I don't use my real information.

 

My paypal account is legit. I am still waiting for paypal to support recieving funds in my country.

JK I use my paypal account far to much for me to be able to use fake info in it anyway.

 

Mine is under my parents name, As I am still to young, And I hate fraud and doing stuff illegally.

 

I think one should never use fake details becoz if u r going to bussiness then why to be fake.
I have verified legal account on my brothers name as te bank is not going to issue me a credit card.LOL
