Who here makes a living online? What's your day like?

I know their's a lot of us out there who dream of leaving our day job to be our own boss in the online world. But is the grass on that lawn really that green? Personally, I look at that grass everyday and it gets greener and greener. It's almost neon green to me.

I am a regular office work so you can pretty much gauge how my day goes. Get up, shower, traffic, go up elevator, go to caffeine machine, sit at my desk, go on the internet, work for 30 minutes, more internet, work another hour, lunch, work for 30 minutes, spend the rest of the day on the internet, clock out, traffic, get home....then do it again for the rest of my life. haha, that's it.

Online workers...what is your day like? Is it really what we all dream of? Do you get up at 4am write a little something then go out and play volleyball all day and have great abdominal muscles with a matching set of pecs. Or is it not what it seems. Do you miss having co-workers and the structure of a regular job?

    Please, drop your stories.

I make a living online everyday from Kontera + adsense. I do as I please. If I don't want to work one day, then I don't have to.

Most of the individuals that make their living on-line share their daily routines on their blog. Writing a little something and playing volleyball all day is something I've yet to hear any of these guys write about. Their time is often spent writing, writing, writing, developing, responding to emails, attending webinars, going to conventions, server maintenance.

Their days are by no means easy, but probably more enjoyable than the saps that goto work for someone else...

@ ForgettenCreature, I hate you from the bottom of my heart :)

@j0ned, I'd rather do all what you said and more than go in the office all day waiting to die of cholestrol. One day I will be there and show up to my old job just to laugh and point at people going up the elevator. then I will play volleyball (with my killer abs) and then go home and write about it. yes, one day. Then I will buy a unicorn and have a leprachaun be the jockey.

You shouldn't hate me. It's easy to earn money from the web. Do you have an unique idea? Make a website about it.

haha, i don't hate you in a bad way. kinda like how a player hates his coach during practice. I've been trying to come up with a unique idea, but can't seem to conjur one up yet. One day my friend.

I am a primary care giver at home but I dabble in online ventures when I am not needed. Omitting my house duties I get up at 6am and go for a bike/run, come home and eat, read email and do some of my clerical work, have lunch, do research or hold conferences with clients, eat dinner then go out for an hour or so, come home and watch a bit of tv. I do most of my work between 9pm and midnight, go to bed sometime between 1 and 3am.
Before I started to get more serious about making money online I had a part time job at Starbucks, to be honest there isn't a day I don't want to go back. I miss the people just not the work.

    Dear All,
If you are really fast and have knack of catching the popular topics ahead of news networks or if you are capable of writing original opinion and reviews on popular topics from the world of Entertainment, Autos, Education, Politics- I assure you that you can easily make your living on internet.
Make sure that you are capable of writing at least 10 original articles on popular topics for your blog, you would be earning around $1500 to $2000 per month in next 12 months.
