What are you even talking 'bout.. the film is just awesome have you seen it yet. I just made it to premier of film and it is amazing surely better than the previous one.
I havent read any of the books in this series but I would like to. I have seen Divergent and I liked it and I would like to see Insurgent but I just havent gotten around to it. I will let you know what I think after I have read the books/seen the movie.
In my opinion, there are very few examples of movies being better then the book or at least as good as the book. The first example that comes to my mind is "The Painted Veil" by Somerset Maugham. I just could not read more than 50 pages - it was so boring (it's just my subjective opinion!). However, the film was quite the opposite Do you know more examples of such an "anomaly"?
I have read many books that have ended up coming out as movies. I so far have not found any movie that I have enjoyed more than the book. They might be out there but I havent found one yet. It could also just be that I enjoy reading way too much. It is actually kind of sad that I have not read a book in almost a year! I just have been way to busy with school and working on websites and such. The newest is http://geek-2-geek.com/
I'm with you on this @KatnissEverdeen by the way I read your series LOL. I think there are these things in the book that cann't be captured on film no matter how good the lead stars are. I think the movie that I like as much as I like the book is "The Fault in Our Stars"
I love The Hunger Games Trilogy(OBVIOUSLY LOL!). I have not read or watched Fault in Our Stars yet. It has been something i have been meaning to check out as well as Divergent/Insurgent books. Another of my favorite book/movie series is Harry Potter. I started reading those books when I was 18. My exs mom was in a book club and gave me the first one to read. I read it in like a day and was hooked ever since.
