Who here has set up an LLC for their website/s

my accountant kept insisting that i can save money with a LLC over a DBA, but everything I have read - including info in this thread - states that the IRS see's a single owner LLC as a DBA for tax purposes. Moveover, the same is true with lawsuits. Courts will see that the single owner is calling all the shots as is just trying to protect themselves in a LLC shield. It will be pretty obvious and the LLC can be pierced because of that.
