Who Here Can Solve a Rubik's Cube?

I can :p. My fastest time is 1 min 31 seconds which I achieved on my first try with my new DIY cube. What about you guys?

I'm trying to learn Fridrich algorithms for the f2l but it's getting a bit tedious, I'm not going to bother with Fridrich for the final layer. Maybe I'll have a go at using Petrus methods. :)

Hang on, is it just me who knows what I'm talking about? :D

I solved the old cube back about twenty years ago in a couple of hours. With age comes a slower brain, not sure if I can do it now.

Back in the 80's my record was 1:21 and that was with a well-oiled cube. I have not tried it in years but I suspect that I have forgotten many of the patterns.

I pulled the stickers once and I solved it with the hammer once. I never was good at them and never liked them.

I can, but it normally take me at least a week or two. But I do see some people do that in minutes....

I think it's possible to do the first face and two layers without learning any algorithms, but even that takes a bit of thinking. The last layer and face are the hardest, but I've learned the algorithms. :)

Fastest I've done it is in about 8 mins. Usually when I try I'll sit down in front of a movie and take my time though, I don't do it for speed. I don't read techniques on how to do it, I just learn on my own. It's a fun toy to play with once in a while.

You must be pretty clever to do it without learning amethod.
I'm sure there are sticker sets that would work for you.

Damn you're good, my best time for a 3x3 is ~3 minutes and ~7 minutes for a 4x4 cube :D I have my own technique though, not using the ones on the net or taught by other people. I just let my fingers do the thing hehe.
