It's voice/audio ads that plays for 5 second on a page visit. So a visitor visit your page that has the audio ads, you'll get paid for it. I blogged about it today: michaelaulia.com/blogs/2008/01/audio-ads-a-new-era-of-advertisement.html
They play one five second ad and you get paid for each visit it goes live on Feb 1st and they may stop accepting members so i would get in now from what i hear probably get between .02 and .05 per visitor . This could be big bucks in the long run.

I signed up for this when another blog I read mentioned it, how do you think surfers will react, though? I mean, does anyone really like audio that auto-starts on pages? I wonder if this will make people stay away from my site after their first visit :/
Yeah, same concern as mine.. unless if the payout is really good then I'll definitely stick it in on a few posts only
That's what's so tempting about it though - 2-5 cents per play on something that doesn't require the surfer to click or leave your site at all. If you're a huge site with thousands of hits daily, that could equal serious bank. EDIT: I put the code on my webmaster-oriented blog, so I can test it out/see how it's like come February 1st. Right now it's just white noise - my friend brought up a good point, will the white noise be what's played if there's some sort of 404 error or somehow no ad? That'd be obnoxious.
