Who has the easiest process for pushing domains?

I was trying to push a domain from a 1and1 acct to another account with another registrar. I do not seem to be able to do that. I need to know who has the easiest or simplest process for doing that so that I can transfer my names to them?

Are you talking about pushing a domain to another owner, or do you mean pushing the domain to another account that you own with a different registrar? I'd say either namecheap or godaddy, either way.

Ah I see. Well, as I mentioned I'd still have to go with namecheap and/or godaddy.

    1) You cannot push a domain name from one members 1and1 account to another.
They simply do not offer domain push services.
You have to do a full cancellation and re-registration...which will cost the new registrant a full registration fee
    at the current advertised rate.

    2) You mention "another registrar". When a domain is moved from one registrar to another, it is not considered
a push, rather it is a transfer.

Long, detailed post to come - therefore I will be splitting it into two or three posts.

You may or may not need to use this area:
    cancel.1and1.com
The instructions received from a 1and1 rep suggested that you had to do it through that link.
However, it sounded to me as though this could result in the deletion of the domain name.
When a domain name is deleted, it loses it's age in WHOIS records(and there are other factors to take into account).

Upon further inquiry about completing a transfer via the regular user-panel,
presumably without the risk of deletion, the 1and1 rep seemed to acknowledge that this was indeed possible.
So perhaps there is no need to use "cancel.1and1.com".

    Anyway, moving on;
sans that cancel link, this is how I think you could do it:

You must unlock the domain. You can do so by clicking "unlock", which is hidden in the drop-down menu
under "Transfers" in your 1and1 control panel.
Also, be sure to retrieve the authorization code, which you will need to give to the new registrant.
You can find your authorization code by checking the box next to the domain and clicking on "info" in the blue menu above.
It is the last item, referred to as "Auth code".

The new registrant will then need to initiate the transfer from the receiving registrar.
They can do so buy going to the "Transfer(s)" section of their registrar.
This will involve typing the domain name into the search slot, then proceeding through checkout where they will be
required to pay their registrar for a minimum of one year of domain registration.
The one year with most registrars, is added to the remaining (current) registration...meaning they will have whatever time is left + 1 year.
The recipient will need to input the authorization codes. Their registrant should provide full details on where
and how to go about this.

Their registrar will then generate a transfer request, which is sent to 1and1.
1and1 will notify you of this transfer request via e-mail.
(Some transfer requests require you to expressly approve the transfer. Others only alert you
that there is a transfer underway and give you the opportunity to undo this transfer within 5 days if you did not
authorize it...I think 1and1 requires you to click link to authorize, but I am not sure.)

You may also receive an additional e-mail to confirm that you are agreeing to the transfer. Such a confirmation
    would speed things up.
From there the transfer should be processed without further action.
However, I've read some horror stories about outgoing transfers from 1and1.

    I wish you the best.
