who has the best domain transfer deal right now?

    1and1.com let's you transfer your domains there for about 10$. privacy protection is free.

    1and1 currently lets you transfer or register .info for just 99cents.

    1and1 is under $7 for .coms (current promotion, ends in 4 days) and under $10 for most domains. They offer free private whois too.

    Beware:
    * 1and1 is hard to manage a large number of domains. Their (domain) control panel could be much better.
    * They do not have free pushes to other customers (unless they changed it), but they do have free, easy to do, outbound transfers.

    ps. Their hosting has lousy customer service, but for domain reg I've never had a problem.
