Who or what has hijacked my webcam?

I saw that the green light was on my webcam and that mean it’s sending. Normally I sit in a Towel in front of my computer because it’s hot her in Thailand but lucky me I have cloth on today. I turned the bloody cam to a dead spot but its still on.

How can I see what application using it? I closed all MSN and Skype

Go to the Task manager and see if you find something abnormal

You should see the big wall of hijacked webcam streams that Bill has in his "sexy room".

I assume, then, that you have constant traffic showing up on your NIC?

whatever you do, don't use the search term "webcam jacking" if you go looking for answers [IMG][IMG]

edit: old but interesting article on the subject: Virus worms way into webcams

I turned the computer off and it was ok. Now its not a problem anymore. I ran virus check and everything nothing. I think it was a pop or something that made it.
