Hi, I just want to know if any of you guys own a Porche... If you do, can ya tell me how it's like... and if you are one of them rich people who just go to the dealer and pay 500k for a gt porche... well you got it easy (if your family is rich or you worked nuts and got really succesful which isn't that easy..) Anyway this is for those people who... save up and buy this type of car. If you have one I want to know again, how it's like, what did you do to get it, and do you think I should get one?
I don't think the people 'who just go to the dealer and pay 500k for a gt porche' really aint going to reply in this thread I got a Fiat Punto though I have pics for all you non-believers.
well w/e anyone who owns one post here n tell me whats it like and blitz you have this one?: http://www.autopress.be/Temporaires/SALON/PARIS_2004/Fiat Punto Rally Abarth.jpg <3
The whole Porsche thing is way overdone... I like to do things differently. My car? a "Zastava 750"... yah I know what you're all thinking, but no I'm not rich. Not yet at least. ... and a VW Polo. (I have pics but I'm too lazy to post them right now, maybe later) if you want to see a similar (but uglier than mine) look on google: http://images.google.com/images?svnum=10&hl=en&lr=&q=zastava+750&btnG=Search
If I wanted to buy a Porsche I sure wouldn't be asking for tips at a webmaster forum... aren't there any car forums out there?
Nope, my one is: http://www.marshmotors.co.uk/punto_55S_black_multi.gif I can't afford to care about cars right now. I've never started a car before, plan to start and pass my test by next month though, 1 week intensive residential course.
I have a porch and think they're fantastic. They help keep the draft out of the house and are the ideal place for unruly cats, dogs and children when one needs a good nights sleep. Whatever Porsche you buy when your AdSense tree fruits, make sure it's 'turbo' and has 4 wheel-drive! Pete
I recently turned over my '97 993 to the dealer. How did I get it? I went to a dealer and asked for it. Actually, I went to the Newport Beach Porsche dealership on PCH, was ignored, then went down the street to another dealer who threw the keys at me and let my wife and I test drive it without a sales person in the car. That act in and of itself sold me. I've owned or leased a lot of really cool cars in my time, but the 993 was by far the best. There's nothing like being able to downshift when you are already going 110. The downside is that everyone wants to race you. The upside is that you always win. Two cars gave me a run for my money - a beefed up Mustang 5.0 and a crazy tricked out eclipse - but neither of them had that extra gear at 110. And then there was the turbo 911 that just blew my doors off, but I knew that was going to happen before the light ever turned green. If you are very tall, a 911 isn't the way to go. It's the best daily driver sports car you can get, though. Corvette owners might have a thing or two to say about that, but I never have owned one of those. Almost did once, but the test drive didn't go so well, so I went in another direction.
Haha how can you mispell Porsche :/ Anyway im thinking of buying one when i save up enough. A porsche carrera s for around 80k. =P Will take a while but its something i gotta do
Now you're talking! I got a tricked out porch to the max... quad air vents, leather seats, plenty of leg room and a mad lighting system.
My mate had a Porsche from new for about 11 years and it cost him over 2 grand (uk) a year to service & repair. Now he's got a Saab Another buddy of mine just bought a Porsche so I'll see him this weekend and let you know if he's got an arm & a leg missing
