I see it constantly in my market.. usually last week of the month, last quarter of the year... last month of the year.

Then again I am also in a seasonal niche where its up alot more in fall/winter (cpc that is)

To comment on the observation about fall/winter, I see more overall traffic durring that time. I guess being house-bound makes people surf more.

well being in electronics/toys/ whatever i think you will see a boost just cause people looking for information on products..

mix that with standard compnanies for said products boosting there ad budget to move there christmas sales = high adsense revenue...

    imo anyway =)

I am really gearing up for this fall/christmas.

well ... a positive thing about adsense ... it's taught me to get away from buying on credit ... it's funny how things are less desirable when your spending money you have in your pocket versus money you will/maybe will have in your pocket. so that's a good thing.

my plan ... bank it all and move it into investments.

if you have debt ... don't be stupid and pay off all those bills ... i have actually come to appreciate waiting for the google checks ... i can plan on expenses way out in advance ... pay for the kids private school fees all at once ... etc ....

just don't take out a new car loan (i find this hard being a car guy) because you had 4 good months on adsense .. play it smart ... making money in your sleep is a gift ... a privilege ... not a right ... get ahead and stop living like a slave.

Well I made the un-enviable position of standing good for my brother, who, well wasn't good for it, still I am clearing my/his debt and hopefully all being well I will have the mortgage low and my Lambo for the summer next year, if all goes to plan. Goodbye credit :)))

Between 10 cents and 40 cents... I am saving up for a first class stamp.

I am just getting started, and I appreciate all the excellent advice and incentive these forums provide.

    Hey Guys,

This thread is really gearing up. I think $100 in the first month would be a great start.

I hope we see someone typing 5digit figure for a month.

    Is anyone there??? :D ;)

$100 in your fist month would really be a lot. I was making like 30 bucks a month when I first started

$6.59 in June, still $84.16 off my first cheque. But then again, I only run it on two blogs with combined page count of about 40. That's for my personal endeavours.

Quite a different story on the business account...

I started on June 23 2003 so from June 24 to Jul 23 I made $317. Aaah! Whare did I go wrong. Shoemoney I am SO jealous of you. I stuck to the one website for all this time and only now started to think about widening the net (thanks to DP).

I think it took me five or six months before even getting past the $100 limit for cutting a check (got that check last month). But then I wasn't attempting to write content for ads, just tossing in adsense here and there for the hell of it. It's starting to pick up now and I think june may have been around $40. More than a first class stamp, not enough for a proper dinner for two (maybe not even a proper dinner for me if there's a bottle of wine involved...)

My site was not written for adsense. I had been building it for two years before and making peanuts on occasional advertisers. Adsense for me was what I think it was meant to be. A way for content sites to score some revenue.

Even taking all the advice on board here from those that are making REAL money from ADsense, who seem to own several sites, I still can´t get beyond the fact that I want original content. I bought a site here all set up and after I discovered that the content was copied throughout the web, I´ve dumped the dbase and started from nothing.

I suppose this site was bought for Adsense but if it ever gets above earning one peanut a day, it´ll be on content that I have created for myself.

Sorry, I just reread that and had to edit it. I don´t mean to say that those who have many sites have created them for AS or have content that was not original. I think I was mesmerised by the success stories and thought it would be a good way to jump on the wagon if I bought a turnkey site and then just felt so uncomfortable with it, I had to start again.
