Who Get Spammed?

I know everybody has the occasional spam message but I want to know who really gets there blog spammed.

I get my blogs spammed multiple times daily... and the funny thing is that from what I can see it is from the same people. And the really funny thing is that I have to approve the comments for them to get posted so these spammers are just wasteing there time day after day...

I guess if your so stupid that you have to spam, than your too stupid to notice it isn't even getting posted.

I used to get tons of spam from adult medicine niches. Now they've given up it seems

 

like i said its no big deal cause I have to accep the comments I just think its funny how much time they waste on trying to spam me and never learn

 

They're not really wasting their time -- all the comments are autogenerated and submitted. Your site found its way onto one of their lists; expect it to be there for awhile!

 

I use to get a lot of this adult spam also, but it seems to have stopped recently and has now been at least 2 weeks since I last ogt a spam comment. I do use Askimet.

 

I always get spam related to different drugs... but Akismet has caught 99% of it for me. I just check the spam inbox from time to time since it has also caught about 5 legitimate posts in the process.

 

Upto now. on one site i have this:

# Total Comments Approved: 540 (average karma: 4.8)
