Who enjoys fishing (not phishing)...:)

I love fishing but as I live in Scotland we have a slight problem at the moment - most of the lakes/lochs are frozen over, as are many of the rivers
Anyone else into fishing, and if so, what type of fishing do you enjoy?

 

Yes i go Flyfishing on a few lochs near Jedburgh and Hawick apart from that the only other fishing i do is seafishing near Clacton on the pier.

 

Well, I have a DAM beside my city.
I go there sometime for fishing but have never caught any Fish.

I would like to do fishing but I do not have any such water body in my city so can't do it.

 

I prefer fishing for carp myself. Flyfishing is never something that has tickled my fancy - seems too complicated to me

 

I am sorry but fishing is not my cup of tea... as I simply do not have the patience to sit out for such a long period, doing practically nothing!

Fishing was one of my favorite time pass when I was a school kid. Had plenty of time since I bunked school regularly.

 

For me, hunting is more interesting than fishing. But i like both

 

I love fishing and take part in it every chance I get in the summertime. I fish for perch and pike mostly...had some great luck this past summer!

 

I love fishing, but only small fish... never got the big fish...

 

I do, I love catching fresh water fish

 

i like sea fishing more as i think there are more fish that i can eat! but yeah, love fishing.. off to live in thailand in 4 weeks and i think i'll get more fishing done there.

 

Live in Australia and go fishing once a fortnight at least. Love it.

Majority of fishing I do is saltwater, but I do fish freshawater as well. Mainly on smaller lakes. We don't have the problem of places icing over down here!

Am also very keen on diving. I regularly dive and snorkel for abalone and crayfish. Especially through summer when the water is warmer

 

I used to go to nearby lakes along with my friends to fish during my school days when I was in my village. It was wonderful days. After settling in a big city which is devoid of river/lake, there is no chance to fish. We just buy marine fish, cook and eat

 

I used to love coarse fishing when i was about 15.
Then i discovered girls.

Then i got back into it.
Then i discovered computers.

I moved country and gave my fishing gear away but i live on a beach in southern europe now so thanks for this post because its reminded me how much fun it was and how i should buy some more gear.

 

I hate phishing because IMO it is the most stupid sport ever! What do you do all day? Wasting your time on nothing.

 

i don't go for fishing, as there are no nearby water bodies..

 

I have not collected enough patience to enjoy fishing, but my boyfriend loves it.

 

I really like fishing... I used to spend a lot of time in my summer holidays when I was a child. Now, these days who has time...
