If someone use my link go to amazon and add something to the cart. But doesn't check out. Then he use someone else's link go to amazon. And go to cart and check out. In this case, who earn the money? Me or someone else?

    Thanks.

Really? I thought when it added to cart, the associate id was written with it. Maybe I am wrong.

I would think it's this way.

But anyway, no one would know. Good to know but can't really control

Has anyone tried this: use a associate link go to amazon and add something to the cart. Then go to a second machine without clicking any associate link just check out for that item. Will the original associate get the money?

As far as I know the last cookies will be recorded for the transaction.

I know the last cookies counts. But when? When check out or when an item was added to cart?

When checkout process, add to cart doesn't count the associate ID cookies.

The last guy would get the referral, you would lose out. It's a big flaw with Amazon's system.

Nice to get confirmed from so many people. I guess as long as there are rules, it's "fair". Anyone can be the last guy, right?
