I'm currently at university and this is what I do instead of working a part-time job. But that said once I graduate I will be doing this as my full-time job.

I am a student and have no job at the moment since my parents won't let me get one right now. I also have no steady allowance in my family so this is basically my main money source. ;)

it seems like the majority of you aren't getting the majority of your income from adsense but from other programs. Am I right?

I wish I could make enough to live on from Adsense, but I'm not even close yet.

Making a steady $xxx a day with Yahoo Publisher Network and some Adsense. I preferr this over a 'regular' job. Plan to branch out into to other forms of revenue besides PPC as well as lauch a blog.

Not a full time job yet, but Im working on it....
I have only launched my first site in the last couple of weeks, so I have a long way to go.
But, I keep reading the forums, trying to work smart and hard, and I think sometime before next summer I should be able to quit the 9-5.
    Can't wait!

    Same here.

But somehow it's very detrimental to the health and family. I need to better manage the time...

I started with adsense on May 2005. I have a full time job and work on my sites at night. This month I will earn more from adsense than with my full time systems administrator job. And this even € and $ are not the same value and on Europe (portugal where most of my website traffic is) the adsense clicks are much lower than in the US.

My main web site has been online for 10 years now. I now have seven web sites, most have been online 5 years or more. I quit my full time job 1 1/2 years ago to stay at home with my kids. I currently earn more than twice what I did at a good government job (I worked as a technical editor). Adsense is currently about 60% of my income. The rest is people advertising directly with me and affiliate programs. The key to my success has been my high page rank (people contact me almost daily to advertise on my site), and a popular newsletter. I normally spend 15-20 hours a week on my sites, but some weeks barely check my email :)
