Anyone know who companies like Dell, Microsoft, Adobe etc. use to design their corporate logo? Please, do NOT PM saying you are a designer.
it's most likely that they hire a design firm to handle it for them. it doesn't matter who they use and likely isn't the same person or company. there are plenty of design firms and agencies that offer corporate branding services.
Yea it does matter... don't kid yerself... there are companies who are at the top of the game when it comes to logo design and branding.
hardly. it's a matter of what you like and what you don't. you decide whether you like it or not. and as i said, there are plenty of design firms and agencies out there that do this. if you're so stuck on who did theirs, contact their customer relations division and ask them. i can guarantee that you will get different firms for each company. don't kid yourself.
Have a look at logomaid.com and check out the "featured clients" animated banner. Seems like they designed T-Mobile, Vodafone and Citroen logos!
Well they might be having there own inhouse creative team working for them.... or i guess they must be working with some particular ad agency for there design work.... well checkout agencyfaqs.com for indian brand and there ad agency list..
theres heaps of factors in making a logo, if you're a big company i say go for a big company to design it for you, coz these companies can help you make a brand from the logo whereels smaller companies might not be able to. theres heaps of stuff they consider when makin u the logo, like ur market, the colour for ur market, the company background, its value its structure and other stuff. to answer ur question, i hav no idea which company they used but ill say its someone big.
Landor are one of the biggest brand agencies in the world... http://www.landor.com/ Logomaid? Lol. Cookie cutter... They even distribute the fonts to the client (which, in most case, is illegal!)
