Hello, I was just wondering. Do you trust paid members more than regular members. I was thinking about going for a one year membership, but then decided to check out if it is really needed. I read all the benefits of being a premium member but that does not sound very attractive to me. All I want to know is, do you trust premium members more? I am active in the B/S/T section, that is why I am asking.
Yes, I trust premium members more. Still doesn't make them 100% trustworthy, but at least they have something to lose if they plan on scamming. A regular member just loses a free account.
I only trust: Dude91, StaSen, getjimmy, Jerlene, MySelf, and the people I have traded with before in my iTrader with iTrader of 10+
Well, ya Premium members are good to be trusted. Because anyone can make an account but only the good ones will pay it to be a premium member. - Mr.President -
and i specially do not trust paid members ok what if i get premium membership it ll be more easy to me to spam and fraud specially for BST because no one have to face arbitration in any kind just check the members having more than 100 iTraders see who lifting NEG and who ++ members less then 5 ll left Neg i am not talking about all but.... anyway there is no difference if you are a paid or regular member
i don't think premium members are trustfull.. Itrader is the best way to find seller is good or not. Itrader is also not helpfull sometimes but if want to buy something from seller then then i would like to see reviews from Reputed member here. Then Itrader. If a person is willing to spam then he can easily spend 10 to 50$ for membership
Being a Premium Member means diddly squat in terms of trustedness. Some con artists would consider the $150 (or whatever it is) membership fee an investment for their future big scam... and we've had $10,000 scams here before. The people you should trust are the ones who have been here for years and never had their integrity questioned. When you speak to someone they have dealt with, who is also a good member, they tell you that their dealings were completely honest and upfront. Sure, shit happens even for good members, but they're the ones who quickly hold their hands up, admit when they've got something wrong and find a way to quickly make it right. Digital_shubhi: I'm afraid you're wrong. There are many good members who will not pay for premium membership.
For me as well, trustworthiness does not come with the money power. I would too look for integrity and long term commitment and also his attitude as reflected in his various interactions with other members over a longer period. As of now, I trust every member, except a few who have brazenly displayed their fondness for money at the expense of the feelings of other people. Regards, RightMan
I trust no-one as I don't know them. I don't see why premium members would suddenly be more trustworthy than a regular member.
Nah your logic is all wrong, because someone can just as easily pay to buy a dozen cheap ebooks or whatever and get a nice bunch of iTraders to make them look trustworthy.
I prefer to deal with members who have a high positive itrader feedback and have been members for a long period of time. I won't do a big transaction with someone who has only a few itrader points or who has been a member for only a few weeks.
I prefer dealing with people who got 100% positive feedback. I check itrader before dealing with that person!
i look at itrade and post count. also how many people reply to a thred of services they may be offering.
So it seems premium membership is not really worth it when it comes to B/S/T. Has any of the premium members experienced increase in sales since you ahve become a premium member?
